A group of highly talented film and theatre personalities of entertainment industry, situated at 106, Crystel Plaza, Raheja vihar near chandivli studio, powai, Mumbai-72is going to launch its Ist. Batch of production oriented three months condensed course of film and theatre acting. Under the guidance of Prof. Udai Shanker “Pani” FTII,PUNE. The syllabus of the academy is as follows:-

Syllabus:-

Ist month: -
ACTING:- basic performance techniques, yoga, martial arts, aerobics, movements, voice, speech and breathing exercises, voice control which includes humming, pitch and volume control of vocal cords.

IMPROVISATIONS AND ACTING:- adaptations, improvisation, observation, concentration and acting techniques (both lingual and mime).

HISTORY AND AESTHETICS:-modern Indian and world drama and aesthetics of art.

IInd month:-

ACTING:- specialization in acting, performance of the text will prepare for the public.

IIIrd month:-

Advance training in acting or techniques and design through a series of workshops conducted by eminent practitioners of the same field. It willinclude advance work with theatre design, realistic acting(including detail work with props and scenic designs).
The workshop done during the accadmic tenure culminate in a student production, which in ticketed to theatre loving audiences.

ADDMISSION:-
(a) Seats available:- 20 (twenty seats).

Out of 20 seats, 4 seats are reserved for sc/st candidates, preferably those who come from families traditionally connected with the performing arts. Due to limited seats 1 or 2 foreign students are admitted in a session.

(c) Working hopurs:- classes are normally held from 2:00 p.m. to 7p.m. with breaks for tea and breakfast. Reharsals and other practical work continue to take place in the evening up to such time as required and also in holidays as the case may be.
(d) Proficiency in Hindi and English.

English and Hindi depending upon the subject and the situation.
Age limit- 18 to 55 years
Last date of form:- 20th April, 08.
